I completed 24 months of BVT at the end of April 2017!  It’s hard to believe these bees have both helped me recover and been such a joy to work with.  Am I still stinging?  Yes!  But, in terms of symptoms related to Lyme, Babesia, and Bartonella…I feel 90% improved!

Symptoms which still remain are: internal vibrations (mild, which feel like butterfly wings fluttering),   stabbing pains in the feet or hands (mild- from the coinfection Bartonella), and some mild muscle fatigue.   I’ve had a couple reoccurrences of night sweats.

Symptoms that are long gone are:  fevers, neck stiffness, bladder pain, bell’s palsy, brain fog, dizziness, pounding heartbeat, internal biting sensations, & internal itchiness…

I am still working 30-40 hours a week where I stand most of the day.  I exercise several times a week via Zumba, hot yoga class, or cardio on the elliptical.   I am planning a trip to Europe soon and will take the time off from stinging while traveling.  And, I am on my second year of beekeeping!

I still incorporate a lot of detox, including warm Epsom salt baths, hot yoga (which works as a sauna), the pekana detox drops, drinks of lemon water daily, and coffee enemas.   I also use other products of the hive including drops of propolis, eating fresh bee pollen, capsules of royal jelly, and a teaspoon of raw honey.

I added some extremity stings in addition to my 10 spine stings in at times, and don’t do many additional ones anymore.  But in the past I have stung my right leg, knee, and ankle, and my jaw or forehead.

I will continue to sting to see if I can clear up the last residual symptoms over this next year.  I am encouraged by my progress over the first 24 months.  Thank you to my blessed honey bee healers….  Sting on my fellow Lyme warrior friends and bee encouraged!  ♥

How long were you dealing with Lyme and associated Co-Infections before completing 2 years of BVT? I’m wondering if people who have been struggling with Lyme and other infections for multiple years have improvement with BVT.

I’m struggling to get through treatment and am wondering if BVT is a viable option. I’m sure getting to the end of the rope with other treatments

Hello, thanks for the comment. I was struggling for 6 years prior to doing BVT. However, Ellie Lobel who created the protocol recovered from Lyme and Babesia after struggling for 15+ years of chronic disease and organ failure setting in. Another woman is 99% recovered after suffering for 20+ years. I’d say give it a try! But you’ll need to commit to at least one year before getting a good evaluation of how your doing.
